Copywork for Curriculum: Copying the Basics is a stand-alone title and differs from the rest of the Copywork for Curriculum titles; it isn’t written to accompany a specific text, but is designed to provide parents with a set of basic, facts-oriented copywork sheets to help children achieve mastery in several basic areas.

These straight-forward pages are available in our “A” series only, as they are designed for early elementary students who may need help becoming familiar with the written forms and spellings of common English letters, words, and numbers.

This copywork book is designed to help early elementary children master the basic facts through copywork.  As a result, this book is designed differently than our other titles.  It is broken into topical sections rather than lesson-sized divisions so that you can pick and choose which basic facts your children need to reinforce and master through copywork.

The copywork selections in this book can help your child learn to master:

  • The formation of the upper and lower case ABCs
  • Basic personal facts (name, address, phone number etc.)
  • The books of the Old Testament
  • The books of the New Testament
  • Numbers and their ordinals up to 30, the tens family and their ordinals up to 100
  • The Roman numerals
  • The days of the week
  • The months of the year
  • “30 Days Hath September”
